Hairy Woodrush - Luzula Acuminata

This plant was found in the North Bay area of Ontario and blooms in May.
Its habitat is moist clay to medium loamy sites in hardwood and mixwoods.
It has basal leaves that are flat and approximately 30 cm or more in length and 1 cm wide with white cobwebby hairs.
The plant ranges from 10 to 35 cm in height.
