Winter
Aconite is an early blooming 6-sepaled species of the Buttercup family
(Ranunculaceae) and is native to rich or boggy woodland areas in
Europe. It is a spring ephemeral which flowers only for a short period
of time, then dying back completely to its underground tuber after
flowering.
